Englewood Cliffs Cadillac Sponsors the Community Chest Annual Spring Event

As part of its continued effort to support good causes in the local community, Englewood Cliffs Cadillac sponsored The Community Chest’s annual “Grant A Wish” spring event at the Montammy Golf Club in Alpine, NJ.

“The Englewood Cliffs Cadillac family is truly honored to be able to help out such a historic organization, which has done so much and helped out many in our community for the better part of a century,” said Mike Saporito, co-founder of Englewood Cliffs Cadillac.

This year’s Grant A Wish Spring Event celebrated 80 years of giving for The Community Chest, which funds over 20 non-profit agencies in the local community, and included a special performance by Kelli Agresta and Alexander Diaz, with musical accompaniment by The Sklar Sisters. There was also a special appearance by WABC news anchor Lori Stokes.

Thanks to the continued generosity of its donors, The Community Chest has collected a record-setting amount of funds over the past year prior to the spring event. The organization allocated $235,124 for programs that address the needs of the local community. The Community Chest supports a wide-range of local programs aimed to help the elderly, the environment, arts and culture, and youth development. It also allocated funds for social services and health centers.

Honda Financial Services Recognizes Hamilton Honda with Council of Excellence Award for Third Consecutive Year

Hamilton Honda has earned the prestigious Council of Excellence award for the third consecutive year. The dealership has distinguished itself and its team as outstanding providers of financial services to its customers.

Only the top 15 percent of Honda dealerships were recognized by Honda Financial Services as worthy of the Council of Excellence award, making this dealership truly exceptional.

“Our Council of Excellence dealerships apply their financial services skills and expertise to offer the kind of service and support that our Honda customers understand and appreciate. It is a pleasure to announce that Hamilton Honda has achieved 2012 Council of Excellence status,” said David W. Paul, vice president of American Honda Finance Corporation.

Hamilton Honda, which was founded by former New York Giants Pro-Bowl linebacker Jessie Armstead and automotive veteran Mike Saporito, will soon be celebrating its fourth anniversary. The dealership’s short history has not kept it from receiving accolades such as the council of excellence Award.

“It is truly an honor to receive this distinction from American Honda,” said Saporito. “This proves just how far we’ve come in our short history. This recognition will only strengthen our great team to continue to provide the best customer service and earn it for a fourth straight time.”

Since opening its doors, Hamilton Honda has also been recognized with the Hamilton Township New Business Award, with the Hamilton Community Enrichment Award and as “Dealer Of The Year” at the 15th Annual Urban Wheel Awards in Detroit. Additionally, the dealership is a two-time recipient of the President’s Award, American Honda Motor Co.’s most prestigious recognition.

Community Appreciation Day At Englewood Cliffs Cadillac

Community minded Englewood Cliffs Cadillac held a Customer Appreciation Day and invited many guests. One of the enticements was a BBQ prepared by Backyard BBQ whose offerings matched the impeccable showroom, the courteous Sales Consultants and service area of the Cadillac company. As www.ParamusPost.com arrived at 374 Sylvan Avenue (9W) on a drizzly morning, it was a delight to encounter valet parking. It was even more of a delight when leaving in heavy rain, our vehicle was pulled inside the Service Area so that we would not get drenched. This is indicative of the thoughtfulness that everyone at Englewood Cliffs Cadillac extended.

After being greeted by General Sales Managers Michael Fanning and Dalton Watt followed by Sales Manager Vatche Kevorkian and the other Sales Consultants, Partner Mike Saporito appeared along with Englewood Cliffs Mayor Joe Parisi Jr. and later on by Tenafly Mayor Peter Rustin. Mike mentioned that he had to fly out to California soon and return the same evening, both redeye flights. However, a veteran traveler, Mike had a formula for being able to sleep on a redeye and still be wide awake and alert during the day.

Members of the sales staff in alphabetical order included Rhamesis Balbueno, Jerome Barnes, Gino Blanco, Jamie Burton, Jaimie Guzman, Sean Pereira and Rich Reid. To boot, while they all share the main phone number, 201 568 4800 and fax number 201 568 4802, they have individual e-mail accounts so that they could be readily contacted.

Despite the inclement weather, the indoor showroom filled with people who were seen downing the BBQ chicken, the BBQ ribs, baked beans, salad, and corn. Finger lickin’ good would aptly describe the victuals.

American Honda Honors Hamilton Honda wtih Prestigious President’s Award

For the second time in its short history Hamilton Honda has earned American Honda Motor Company’s most prestigious honor, the Honda President’s Award. The award comes on the hands of a record-setting year in sales for the dealership, which was founded in 2009 by former New York Giants Pro-Bowl linebacker Jessie Armstead and automotive veteran Mike Saporito.

“We are honored to receive the Honda President’s Award for the second time in just three years,” said Saporito. “To do what we’ve done in such a short time wouldn’t be possible without the great team we have and our focus on the overall customer experience.”

The Honda President’s Award is given to “top-performing dealerships in the area of sales, customer treatment, training, business management, service retention and facilities,” according to the company. Hamilton Honda finished 2012 as consistently one of the highest-volume sales dealers in the country, including a record sales month of 498 vehicles in December, which helped the dealership in its quest for award.

Hamilton Honda, which will celebrate its four-year anniversary in May, finished December 2012 as the 10th ranked volume Honda dealership in the U.S. The dealership’s strong finish last year, coupled with positive auto industry projections, should lead to an even better 2013. Auto industry analysts are projecting over 15 million sales in 2013, with Honda alone expecting 1.5 million.
